Make More Art
In the last decades researchers found evidence that being creative enhances well-being. Studies show that people who make art regularly improve their health and their happiness (read more). Humans who develop a habit of being creative:
- relieve stress
- develop a higher self awareness
- increase the ability to focus sharply
- connect with the community
- improve their problem solving and decision making skills.
And just like one strenuous workout doesn’t build your muscles at once, creativity needs repetition as well. Your brain learns to zone into creative mode with more ease the more you practice. The fear of “messing up”, of failure decreases dramatically once creativity becomes a habit. Get into the habit of a creative lifestyle. Make more art, because it is good for you, and because it is good for the people around you.
